JW ANDERSON X SELFRIDGES
As a continuation of our current brand partnership with global footwear and lifestyle retailer Converse, we delivered a pop-up scheme within Selfridge’s shoe gallery, as a takeover of Offspring Women’s new space, which perfectly punctuated the daring interpretation of the contrasts between iconic Converse silhouettes and JW Anderson’s provoking design aesthetic.
For the launch of their third collection, we elevated the JW Anderson X Converse Spring 2018 product by curating a compelling theatre environment with the purpose of leveraging the everyday chair in an unexpected way. Drawing on the evergreen materials at the core of the Converse brand; plywood, concrete and crisp branding were used to create a clean monotone background.
With a nod towards nostalgic classroom environments, we produced a showcase wall made up of a configuration of bright white powder-coated school chairs which was set against a stark concrete backdrop with de-bossed Converse branding. This balanced the juxtaposition of simple and complex to enhance the exclusive collection and engage with the relevant audience.
