We teamed up with Mr Jones Watches, the one-of-a-kind, somewhat unusual, London based watch brand, to design, produce, and install their Seven Dials Flagship.  

Mr Jones Watches follows the ethos that since the rise of technology watches have been given permission to become much more than just a functional object, instead a tool for self-expression.  

Therefore, art and design are at the core of the brand’s story. Every watch is created in their London studio. Using a pad printer, the faces are built one colour at a time, layer by layer. Titled ‘Layers in Time’, our design concept stems from their unique production method. Our mission was to turn the store into a storytelling artwork, with moments of product layered and heroed in between.

Creating an ownable aesthetic for the brand, crafted materials and colourful bold arches are layered throughout the space, physically representing the layered creative process that goes into every watch. Watches are displayed in magnified casing, encouraging customers to fully immerse themselves into the intricate design of every piece. The story, process, and design behind each watch is displayed on a QR code on the counter below  

An oversized watch takes centre stage at the back of the store, layered in its design to further channel the brand’s multi-layered creative process, the watch immortalises and draws attention to the details of one of Mr Jones’ most iconic designs.  

Personalisation and engraving stations are also featured within the store, allowing customers to place a bespoke twist on all their purchases, ranging from strap designs to illustrations inspired by the company’s dogs, the stations act as a great personal touch from the brand.
